Can't complain about the service because no staff showed up... Needed to ask the hotel staff (Mercure) to call the Europe car central.
We collected our car from Sydney central today and, despite it not being very well signposted, we received very good customer service from Phil. He took the time to make sure that we understood the terms and conditions of our rental agreement thoroughly and was keen to answer as many questions as we had for him before set off. At no point did we feel forced to take any of the additional packages that he offered us. He was a fine example of good customer service and should be recognised for that. Well done Phil! We are very much enjoying our car so far ...
I hand over the key to the staff in the parking lot and he checked the car in front of me and then later they called me saying we can't find a car sir!! And after investigation they charged me one more week because they simply couldn't find the staff who was in charge in that day.
Not sure why all the reviews are so bad, I wanted a car for the next day, popped into the office: all sorted no problems, guy behind the desk super helpful and friendly ...next day picked up car no hassle, and drove straight out of the hotel car park into central Sydney. Perfect.
We booked the car and no one showed up at the office. I called the company and the lady said there was no booking in the system. She later explained we made a booking last night so she didn't know and said that was the reason why there's nobody in the office. I wonder what the business hour is for then?? She was rude and unprofessional. I've been using Euro car in New Zealand and it is way better than Sydney in many ways. And next time please do tell replied your customer "but anyway I'm sorry" so you're saying it's not your fault. Good luck with running your business. You have ruined my whole trip that day. Thank you and goodbye Euro car Sydney.PS. Please tell your customer booking online doesn't help them anything!!!
