Oysters were warm and not overly fresh. The menu is on the experimental fusion side. Some dishes were wonderful, others were... you get it! Still wonderful service regardless!
Not sure where to start... From the chef's making educated guesses that would ultimately guarantee everyone got the dish they want (which every single one of us adored)... To the knowledge of wine and accompanying dishes. Bentley was superb in all aspects and were willing and capable to make our occasion into something grand. Very impressed.
This is an amazing place to eat it's a bit pricey but so worth it. The staff were really helpful and very friendly with a good knowledge of the wines in the menu. We were there for new years eve and had the 8 course set menu. Every dish was incredibly tasty and perfectly presented. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.
Beautifully cooked and presented. The small plate style is great. I found non-alcohol drink pairing was more interesting than wines.Great place for special occasions
Having done quite a bit of fine dining the atmosphere was a bit more raucous then other places I've visited, but from other dining experiences in town I think that's more a difference between Australia and Europe. When we ordered the 8 course menu our first course was delayed and my dining companions meal was incorrect and incomplete. However the staff quickly fixed the order and gave us prompt and professional attention (a truly excellent staff). The food was absolutely delicious and the wine pairings were wonderful. The semolina was highly knowledgeable and told us so much excellent information about the varietal and the grower. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
