There's a certain apprehension when you plan on going out for a drink on a Friday/Saturday night - Will I be waiting all night to be served at the bar? Am I going to be able to find somewhere to sit? Thankfully, The Lobo Plantation is big enough that even on a popular night you don't have to wait long for a seat. Best of all, the staff are so friendly, one of whom came from around the bar counter to take orders from those waiting in line. The drinks are delicious, with a huge variety on offer, and the Caribbean-theme is a fun departure from the often boring decor you see at other Sydney bars.

My partner and I came here after dinner for a cocktail and the service was amazing. Very friendly staff and drinks came out quick. The place has a great atmosphere and I highly recommend it!
Fantastic bar with great service and beautifully quirky yet stylish interior. The Caribbean theme is terrific and the Grenache-Shiraz blend that I had was affordable ($10) as well as delicious. Altogether, this place is marvellous for a relaxed night out PS. beware that they set a minimum spent of $50 a head for reservations on Saturdays (which is why we just went there without a reservation and still got a great spot).
I first visited here when it first opened and hadn't been for ages. Both recent visits on week nights and the service was exceptional. So good to be made to feel like you matter, everyone knew what they were doing, could make recommendations. Had snacks and cocktails, lovely lovely lovely. If you want somewhere with amazing service and a good atmosphere in the city I say visit here, if you can find it!!
