Service was appalling! Food however was spectacular for the most part. Our waiter/waitress spent zero time to build a repport which you would expect at a restaurant such as this but then you would also expect to deal with a single waiter/waitress as well. We therefore did not receive the attention again you would expect. We were not the only ones on this evening that experienced the same. Scallop entree was excellent but the venison entree was boring and lacked flavour so steer clear of that. Frankly my shoe would have provided more flavour. Pork main was cooked to perfection and had the perfect mix of soft supple meat along with the crunch of the ... The King Fish was also perfect and had a great combination of flavours. Sadly though the service continued to decline through out the evening. We werent even asked if we would have liked a second bottle of wine which we would have ordered.
This is an excellent venue to bring interstate or international visitors when they visit Sydney - far better class of clientele than the 'opposition' revolving restaurant at Sydney Tower. I found the staff here courteous and helpful. Thank you: I will bring future visitors here for a good dining/drinking experience.
Our daughter gave us a voucher for this restaurant for Xmas. What a complete let down. For the exuberant price we paid the meal was so ordinary. My husband's lamb entree actually had hard grizzly bits in it and was chewy and tough. He was so turned off after that. The scallop entree I had the scallops was so undercooked they tasted slimy and raw. The 1 star I gave was purely for the view and even then when people from the other side of the restaurant came and stood in front of us to see the fireworks we couldn't see the view or the fireworks. I asked one of the staff to ask them to stand behind the tables so we could all see and she said "I understand but nothing I can do". Needless to say we won't be back and I don't recommend this place at all. What a complete waste of $237. Unfortunately we had to lie to our daughter who gave us the voucher and say we liked it so she wouldn't be disappointed about her gift to us. By the way your compulsory 7.5% gratuity is a complete scam. Give the customer the choice to say if they were happy or not and willing to pay it.
Amazing view, service and food! I did the right decision of choosing this place to celebrate my birthday. They have the friendliest staff and they are easy to talk to from the Reservation officer to those service staff who looked after us when we were there. Kudos!
Food was lovely, great views. Initial host/bar staff were fine, but restaurant staff were very slow and at times ignoring our table all together. For example, they gave us the dessert menu and never came back to take order so requested bill and left. We were served by several staff which I feel were not communicating with each other to know what stage of dining we were at. Was a bit disappointed as was celebrating 1st wedding anniversary and the service let us down.
