I stay here a few times a year while traveling on business and the location is fantastic. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My biggest complaint would be the Internet is very very slow and this is consistent throughout the entire hotel

The hotel is beautiful in all common areas. it has been painstakingly restored and reading the history of the hotel was also really interesting. The gym and pool were good. The renovated rooms are nice looking but not true to the heritage of the building. They are also not comfortable for a week long stay as there was no arm chair or lounge. It was either the bed or desk to sit. There also was no carpet, there are floor boards instead. I had an issue with water leaking in the first room, I sat for an hour waiting to be reallocated but they forgot about me and it wasn't until I rang back that they followed up. The gentleman who assisted me move was really nice but there wasn't really any apology for the inconvenience. I know only certain floors are renovated I hope that the.design is reviewed for the other floors with consideration to heritage anf comfort. The bathrooms do achieve this already and are nicely appointed. I also hope a bit more time is spent assisting guests when things go wrong I wasn't given a new room till 9:30 and I had to work the next day! A colleague also had a fire alarm go off after midnight with no follow up to advise it was a false alarm or even that is was being investigated.

Great for families and solo travelers alike. Great reception, spacious room (we got the family room), excellent location (we could walk to most places of interest in 5-15 or take the train one or two stops). The hotel itself is beautiful with lovely art deco details, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel, great location some issues with the WiFi which when travelling alone is never good. But the staff were helpful. Ten minutes walk from Sydney Harbour via the Circular Quay. Stayed in an executive room which was OK no view as such as I was on the inside atrium aspect.Great little restaurant next door for late arrivals as hotel restaurant finishes taking orders at 10pm.I liked the Traveller book left alongside the Bible as an optional read.

Great overnight stay in Sydney CBD..spacious comfortable rooms. Staff were all very accommodating and helpful for any inquiry...multiple food and dining choices in adjoining foyer. Funky Irish pub also in same complex...recommended AAA+++
