I have shopped here several times before and this store offers a decent range of accessories and parts as well as reasonable prices. The service in this store has generally been below par though. I was very disappointed in one occasion when I was told that the in store prices matched the webstore prices. While in the store I took the managers word but when I got home and compared my instore tax invoice with the webstore prices I was charged 10-15% more on every item compared to web prices. I left the issue alone, but when I was contacted a week later by text when the store was asking for feedback, I flagged this issue with them and they never responded. I wont be shopping at Bikebug North Sydney again.
As with other reviewers, felt like we were inconveniencing the owner/manager by asking if they had something for sale. Two stars for other staff who were useful and found what I was looking for.
Came into the store as a genuine buyer. Wandered around for 15mins looking at the bikes on the floor. What appeared to be the main sales guys was to busy talking to all his friends that came in, after me, about their holidays that he couldnt be bothered acknowledging me or offering to get anyone to help me. Guess business is so good they dont need new customers!
I got a flatie and took my bike into the shop at 5.15pm to leave overnight - Duncan said he could fix it for me now if I'd like - he was so quick with the job and saved me a lot of time . I really appreciated his friendly and professional service - Thanks very much Duncan
Being a customer is such an inconvenience to them! I was in the store for about 15 minutes without anybody acknowledging I was there. Eventually I went right up to the desk to ask for help, however the guy told me he was too busy with some paperwork and would be with me shortly. I walked in circles around the store for another 20 minutes before he finally came out to "help" me. I was interested in buying a helmet, asked for some advice, whether the one I was looking at was a good brand and popular, to which his only response was "well, it's white, what do YOU think?". I don't know, that's why I asked. He then went back behind the counter and wasn't going to offer any further help than more sly and condescending remarks. I also wanted a bag and gloves but was terrified to ask for assistance with any other product. I ended up buying the helmet thanks to the better advice from Google. He was also painfully slow to let me pay for it. More waiting and waiting : / The helmet is great, but seeing as customers are not welcome in this store and serving us is such a nuisance, do them a favour by not giving them your business.
