$6.50 for a mocha? not sure if it is worth it to sit with all the sea gulls flying around. Location is nice but not worth the prices
Excellent atmosphere with indoor, air-conditioned seating and A La Carte with a spectacular view of Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge. Can be a bit pricey if you're looking for a quick bite but that's too be expected. You can get a coffee for around $5 . If you're looking for a colder drink, they serve iced coffee for $11, but you can get a latte on ice for about $5 cheeper. Excellent selection of pastries and deserts.
Although the sign outside said they close at midnight when we arrived at 11:10pm we were told that we could only order what was in the Window and we could NOT order coffee. When my friend asked does that include hot chocolate? We were met with a stern; of course it does, no hot chocolate and no coffee. Really? They had 50mins before close. So we turned around and walked straight back out. Theres not many options in the area at that hour. I would recommend just going to City Extra, at least youll get served there.
I was expecting this cafe, located in the premium tourist precinct of Sydney, to offer high-quality refreshments in accordance with the high prices. We were a group of seven people who ordered a variety of drinks after a long day. Hot chocolates were fabulous. Regular chocolate milkshakes ($12!) were disgraceful. A rich chocolate sensation one might have reasonably expected from a Belgium Chocolate Cafe was sadly absent and such a drink would be unsatisfactory in any establishment. More of a concern, however, at such a premium cafe, was the inability of the employee to do more than offer a trite apology (not his fault!). Further training of wait staff is required.
The service has changed to better so I edited my review.Good place good looking. Perfect cappuccino very good dessert although it's pricy. Service good but still needs improvement.Will come back.
