The food was lovely. The service was a bit rude. We booked 3 weeks ahead to get a table promised to us for two hours. When we we about to order desert 1.5 hours into our lovely dinner the waiter suddenly announced we had to leave and there was no time for desert. When we complained that we were promised two hours, not 1.5, the waiter became angry and spoiled our night. I wont be returning. Im not a tourist I live in Sydney. There are plenty of better experiences,
Husband took me there for my 50th on Sunday. Amazing vibe out on the terrace. Food was superb. Excellent value for money considering the location.
We came here today for lunch, our 1st time @ Cafe Sydney and definitely will be back. Champion staff, wine selection, food and location. The waitstaff were very attentive without being in your face and the seafood was fresh. A special mention for Chris the Frenchman who served us and took excellent care of his quarter, but really from the get go, the service here was exemplary. 10 out of 10. Thank you, Achilles and Sima.
Going here is a event. Superb views. Which were made even more magical on our evening as a thunderstorm lit up the harbour .Excellent food and wine. Very attentive service. Great night.
We recently had our Christmas party at Cafe Sydney and the entire experience was fantastic. It all started with great drinks and nibbles at the bar followed by a delicious three course dinner on the terrace with such an intimate and calm view of our lovely harbor. The staff were all professional , prompt and attentive under the seamless and magnificent instruction of Jan. She really knows how run this busy and popular establishment. We had a fabulous night!Thank you to all at Cafe Sydney.
