As advertised, this is the most beautiful cinema in the world. The Opera house and Harbour Bridge is your backdrop and the movie screen that comes up from the water. Note that at times the screening can be canceled due to extreme weather, however they will keep you informed. Highly recommended annual event!

AMAZING. Best view and a great atmosphere. I loved the Gum Tree Gin with light flavors of eucalyptus and lemon. Great workers. The entire experience was ridiculously good. Enjoy the movie!

Great evening out under the stars - seats have slightly improved on previous years offering an attempt to provide some padding. Not a fan of free for all idea of writing names on "reserved " seats - lots of good seats left empty forcing people to are actually there to sit in less suitable seats at the top of the stairs. Tickets seats - or requiring people to actually occupy the seats would be a much more efficient and appropriate system. Not sure why given the cost of the tickets and the sponsors signage everywhere they then choose to subject everyone to mindless adverts for the first 20 plus minutes Im rather pleased given the stupidity of the St Georges Bank adverts that if they reflect that bank I don/t bank with them.

I absolutely loved the experience of watching a movie with about 1k people, no less with the incredible background of Sydney City, Opera House & Harbour, but doing so to Bohemian Rhapsody. The A/V is good. I highly recommend.

Magical experience. The setting and atmosphere have made this one of my top experiences. The sound and picture quality are quite remarkable - way above any expectation. Food and drink good. Get there early to secure your seats (first come, first served) but also note just about any seat gets a great view.
