After reading all the reviews for such long delays etc.I decide to catch the train into martin place walked over to the hospital which was a quick walk it was actually far better than driving in.Was attended to at the counter there was a bit of a queue it went quick sat down didn't take long to be called in.Sat down the nurse attended to me prior to the doctor seeing me which toke a bit BUT am not the only one there.I was taken care of in a professional way by the doctor and could not fault it any way keep up the good work.

I traveled a fair distance, and as far as hospitals go, my experience was a good one. The staff were professional, friendly, caring, and attentive.

I am grateful that we have fully subsidized medical care in this country, we are all very lucky. A short wait is nothing compared to the luxury we have access to.

Appointment time early in the morning for surgery but end up having to wait till late afternoon fit surgery without food or water. Over two hour wait time for a follow up appointment to get a simple workcover form signed. If you can't keep to set appointment times then why ask to come early when you know you are running out if schedule.

Seven hours waiting for surgery to be told to come back another day! Catastrophic waste of time, I'm never coming back.Wait wait wait wait wait, this service is clearly understaffed. The first day I waited 4 hours for 5 minutes of the doctor's time. It's awkward because you get somebody different everytime you come back. It was a different doctor after I got the ultrasound done. There's no follow up, and the doctor reads your file on the spot. The second day, we waited with my partner for 7 hours! 7 hours for a minor surgery, just a small piece of plastic planted deep into my skin. When asking for an update, they just reply "we don't know" because the surgery service gives them updates only when they want to.It seems there is zero day planning, so when you get there at 9am, you may be called in the afternoon, or booked for another day! And since you have to fast, you'll spend the day hungry. The staff there is friendly, but that's pretty much it. Go for a another hospital if you can, because this hospital will waste your time. They can't even do something as simple as planning a day, how are they supposed to do a complex task like a hand surgery? It doesn't add up.
