Great Coles supermarket. Close proximity to China Town means that there are many products you usually have to go to Asian grocery for, e.g. wonton skins. Fresh fruit and vegetables, just need to be careful when you buy raw salmon on promo. Good selection of dairy and everything else you need. Located in World Square lower ground.
You have to be careful when checking prices. Some may seem to offer a discount, however it's just clever marketing. Overall though, a high standard of quality is evident!
Great range of groceries in a very small space. Always pretty crowded so best to go earlier in the day to avoid the worst of it. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
FRESH PRODUCE DEPARTMENT:NO CUSTOMERS ACTUALLY EVER CARE ABOUT IF THEY ARE BENT BANANAS OR STRAIGHT BANANAS. ITS THE CONTENTS THAT MATTER. FARMERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO SELL ANY SHAPE THAT NATURE PROVIDES THEM RATHER DUMPING ANY BANANAS THAT ARE TOO STRAIGHT.
